~ Transformation- Translation ~
When looking at a figure I know that it is Transformation when the location size or orientation of a figure. The new points that are made are called prime letters. I would describe translation Also a translation occurs when a figure slides across x-coordinate plane. An translated figure will never change in shape or size. But it will only change in its location. The reason for this is because the figure only slides its figure. You can translate a figure without a coordinate plane you must read the direction that tell you the units that you must go up,down, right,or even left. Then you see which coordinate are different. After that you subtract the difference and you put your new coordinate together. For example, If G is located at (3,7) and G' is located at (3,4). The first step that you have to do is look at what axis is the same and what are different. In this case the x-axis are the same and the y-axis are different. So now my next step would be to subtract 7 and 4. and my answer would be 3. So my figure would be 3 units down. And this is an example is how you can find out the units that you go up,down, right,or left. Without using a coordinate plane..
