~ Angles part 2 ~

when we are given " one is twice as large as the other" we would know what the first angle is because i would use the given number and subtract it by 180 or 360 because its twice as large as the other angle. for example if the directions said "one is five degrees bigger than the other" First you have to see what shape is the angle. So lets say its a right angel. You know that a right angle measures 90 degrees.. After that you can write an equation and your equation would look like this 5+A=90.When you need to assign a variable to something you would know because a variable is a unknown so you are trying to find out what it is. Are corresponding angles the same.I say " yes" corresponding angle are in deed congruent.I say that corresponding angle are not the same as vertical angle because corresponding angles are congruent angles that are in the same location on different Parallel lines. And vertical angles are right above each other. The word congruent means that they are in the same shape and measurement..vertical angles are congruent.. Supplementary angles are not congruent angles because they have to equal 180. I think that two angles can not be corresponding and supplementary angle because corresponding angles and supplementary angle equal different measurements..I also think the same thing for vertical and corresponding can't be the same because vertical and corresponding angles are two different things...... When four angles are formed around a line and a transversal equal up to 360 degrees. This is alway the case because that is a quadrilateral and every quadrilateral equals 360.....................................

~ angels part 1 ~

~ When I have to set an equation that equal 90 or 180. I know because of the angels. For example, if its just a line I know that its going to equal 180 and if it looks like an L with a little box its going to equal up to 90. When we set an angles equal to each other that means that they are vertical. When you are solving for just x you are not solving the problem correctly because you are just finding the value of x. So now you have to plug it in to find the degree of that area, of the angle. The word congruent means that they are the same. Yes vertical angles are congruent because they have the same shape and measure the same. Not all the time complementary are congruent sometimes they can measure differently and there shapes meant be bigger or smaller than one another. The same is for supplementary angles they can measure the same or they don't.... Another angle that are congruent are vertical....../

~ Vertical Angles~

The word congruent means the same shape. when you have a vertical angle you would know because they are right across from each other. A quadrilateral is an angle that has the same shape and size. If i only know one angle in my intersecting quadrilateral yes i can find all the other angle. I can find the other angles because now i how something to guide me and find the other angles.

~ pythagorean Theorem ~

The opposite of squaring a number is finding the square root of it.The PT formula means a^2+b^2=C^2.We can apply PT in real life, when you are walking or using a compass. For example let's say that Maggie is walking 3 miles North and then she walks 4 miles East. But Maggie want to find out what is the distance if she was to walk west then east. When people are trying to identify what they need to know is that the hypotenuse is the longest side of the right triangle.Well I think yes because it is still left with the square root to find.If we are only provided with one leg and the hypotenuse ,and then it asked for the other leg. Then we will have to plug in what we know. After that, you subtract from one side to the other and then you could find the other leg that is unknown.

laws of exponents part1

We can expand an variable with a exponent. The exponent of the term y is y. X times x is x^2.It's not just x because it's not one x, it also has another x. So now it's x^2. Yes I'm noticing a pattern when I'm multiplying exponents.A general rule that I can device from my observation is when you have a exponent it's the same as it timing itself.

Intergal exponent

~ We can not simplify expression that don't contain like terms. No x^2y is not a like term with xy^2 because whatever number the x is in the first one is being squared. And in the second one they are squaring the y.Xy and xyz are not the same because the second has a z to it.Also we can't combine them because they are not like terms. The power of m is 7 and the base of m is m. A negative base is when there is a negative sign in front of it.Let's say the base is x, so the x would be -x.Yes when we are finding a^2+b^2=c^2 ~

~ Integral Exponents ~

~ To square a number means to times that number or an unknown by itself twice. To cube a number is to times it three times by itself. Exponents relate on finding the area because you have to multiply the number by itself and instead of writing it out you can use exponents. For example to find the area of a square. The height is 7 and the length is 3. So you write 7^2+3^2=58 so that is your area with the help of exponent instead of writing it out 7x7+3x3 and working it out from there.~

~ Unlike Terms ~

~ " Yes " x is different from x^2, because the first x don't have an exponent .We can combine the terms that have the same exponent, because they are the same and they are in the same group. They would be called "like Terms. One thing that you can do to remember how to add and subtract integers. Is to remember subtraction and addition is using the number line. Yes 8n-2 is the same as 8n+-2. A coefficient is the first number in front of each variable. They are important because they let us know how many times they repeat.~

~ Like Terms ~

~ My definition of like terms is when the expression have the same terms. Yes 100p and 3000p can be combine because they have the same variable. P and p^2 are not like terms because then first p is to the first power and the other is to the second and the exponent matters. so we can't combine them. We can't combine 2d+2f because they are not like terms. They don't have the same variable. An expression can't have an equal sign, the reason why is because equation have equal sign. And equation and expression are not the same. A perimeter is the distance around a shape. ~

The information in the box "A Day in the Life" helps the reader understand the article they give details about how their day go every morning. For example, they tell us the time they wake up and the time they go to sleep 6:30 in the morning. More over they tell us how they spend their days every single day.

~ mOving Varables ~

~ When yOu are mOving One variable term tO the Other side Of the equal sign yOu must dO the OppOsite OperatiOn until yOu can sOlve the prOblem.
In the prOblem 16j= 12-4j I wOuld add 4j tO the Other side Of the equal sign because that wOuld be the inverse OperatiOn Of -4j.
The relatiOnship between additiOn and subtractiOn is that they OppOsite of each Other.
And when yOu need tO check yOur wOrk yOu use the Other OperatiOn Of the One that they give. The phase " what yOu dO the One side yOu must dO tO the Other side" is related tO the balance scale because it wOuld help simplify the prOblem mOre befOre we sOlve the equatiOn. ~

~ pythagorean Theorem ~

In my opinion I believe that Pythagorean theorem are related to solving equation. I believe that because they both have unknown variable that you need to find the value for. I also think that they are related because you are taking some of the steps that you use to solve equal to help you solve for Pythagorean theorem. For example, lets say that you are trying to find the value of a in the problem as followed 4a-8=12..so what you are going to do is add 8 to both of the equal sign.. Afterwards, you are going to divide by 4 to each side because now you want a and the value of a....... Its like doing the same thing when you are doing Pythagorean theorem...... here is an example for solving Pythagorean theorem 6^2+b^2=10^2...... in order to find what the value of b^2 is. The first thing that you have to do is find the square of 10 and 6. second thing you have to do is subtract the the square of 6 which is 36 by both sides..... After that you are going to find the square root of the answer 64=b^2. Then your answer is going to be 8...... To me that is almost the same steps that you have to take to solve the problems............ So I think that Pythagorean theorem is related to solving equations
