~ Integral Exponents ~

~ To square a number means to times that number or an unknown by itself twice. To cube a number is to times it three times by itself. Exponents relate on finding the area because you have to multiply the number by itself and instead of writing it out you can use exponents. For example to find the area of a square. The height is 7 and the length is 3. So you write 7^2+3^2=58 so that is your area with the help of exponent instead of writing it out 7x7+3x3 and working it out from there.~

HEY AMANDA
I LIKE THE WAY YOU DESCRIBED WHAT IT IS TO CUBE A NUMBER,I ALSO LIKE THE FACT THAT YOU USED EXAMPLES TO SHOW WHAT YOU MEANT IT WAS REALLY HELP FULL.

SINCERELY,
